Was I the only one  who as a child  thought  our  daily bread meant making sure we ate at least one slice of bread each day?  I later thought it meant  money.  Here I am age  62 and penny dropped that it means  enough of what we need for the day ahead.  Food,  energy, money,  each breath,   knowledge,   physical and mental needs  etc etc.    Some days we need more of one particular thing so it  changes every day.     Since I came to know Jesus as my saviour  and therefore  started believing in God,  I have learnt so much about what He  created the world and us for  and it makes everything make  sense.   Ooops. Not sure that's good English.  One of the main things I couldn't get my head round for quite a while,  was  what  we  actually need  and what we think we need  can differ  greatly.   The first few weeks of my walk  I got used to not having connection for my mobile phone and  since then I  don't always take it with me,  and if I do  its usually off or on silent.  TV  and  radio were needs for  I needed to know what happening in the world.   So I thought.  Lol.  No I don't need to.   Interesting how so many things in life become a  need,  but in the greater scheme of things,  they aren't.    All about  seasons.  Times in our lives dictate different  'needs '. I not saying I don't  like having ability to communicate with you all  and  use  Internet for  lots of different things, for I do.  But today I just thought about  what we  cannot live without in order to survive.   And all that is  our daily  bread.  :-)   With me?    Not surprised if I lost you  today.  Lol.  Either way  I hope you all have and enjoy your daily bread.  :-)
