Whistle while you walk?

Its been a few days since my last post due to virus getting me, but better now than in few weeks. It has put me back few days with my training but it could have been a lot worse. At least it not any broken bones or torn ligaments etc!
About a year ago, a friends little girl learnt to whistle and she would ask if I could too. Hard as I tried I couldn't, (even with a tooth missing). No big deal that I cant whistle I thought, but did you know that the pitch and sound carries further than a shout? What a good thing they make whistles especially for in a case of an emergency. My latest purchase of equipment for the walk is not just any whistle. It has a compass and a thermometer on it. I had better learn how to use a compass.
